How often do you wash your hair in winter?

I read a magazine about hair health. It said that "In the cold weather season we found, that if you’re shampooing your hair two or three times a week, you can prevent your hair from drying out too much."
So, I don’t wash my hair as much as I used to, only two or three times a week.
